Blog Post 7: Exploring Hoysala Temple Art

 Hi everyone,

I want to share something —I've started learning Hoysala Temple Art, and it's like entering a whole new world of painting.

We're talking about ancient art from Hoysala temples!

What I Learned Today: Horse Tails and Swan Wings

Hoysala Temple Art

Art Style: Hoysala Temple Art (It's like really old-school Indian art!)

Focus: Drawing animal parts - like horse tails and swan wings

Animal Anatomy Adventures:

Swan Wing (Hamsa Balada Nakasha):

Learning the details of a swan's wing - those big, graceful wings you often see in old temples.

Trying to show the beauty and calmness of a swan through drawing its wing.

Horse Tail (Kudura Bala Nakasha):

Figuring out how to draw a horse's tail in a way that looks beautiful on temple art.

Making it look not just like a tail, but like a special, meaningful symbol.

Why Animals?

Horses show strength, and swans bring elegance and special vibes. So, learning to draw them is not just about making art but also about telling stories with pictures.

More Updates Coming Soon:

I'm going to keep you posted on my adventures in Hoysala Temple Art. There's lots more to learn about the tricks, stories, and joy of making art that's been around for a really, really long time.
